holiday wish list

As previously mentioned, from now until our agency closes for Christmas I am collecting toys for the kids at our family shelter, the Eleanor House, as well as families that come to our agency for assistance. 

I am also collecting items for our residents at the Rickman House and our Permanent Supportive Housing Program. These residents receive long term support and assistance through our agency, and have some kind of disability or mental health issue. Below are wish list items that can be donated for these clients. *NOTE: if you donate these items, please leave them unwrapped*

Wish List--New Items
*Blankets/sheets - twin size
*Bed pillows
*Belts for men and women
*Bath/hand towels, washcloths
*Bags or backpacks on wheels
*Books for adults readers
*Bus tokens
*Cleaning supplies
*Clothing in 2X or 3X sizes
*Flashlights and batteries
*Gift cards
*Wheeled carts for groceries and other shopping
*Laundry soap or fabric softener
*Long underwear and socks
*Mittens and gloves 
*Note cards and stamps
*Plastic totes

Non-Perishable Food Items
*Decaffeinated Coffee
*Non-dairy creamer/sugar
*Peanut butter
*Bread, crackers
*Canned soup, stews, canned tuna
*Boxed rice or pasta
*Dry cereal
*Easy to prepare, one person meals

Personal Care Products
*Sweatshirts - larger sizes
*Sewing kits
*Toilet paper and Kleenex
*Tennis shoes
*Thermal mugs with lids
*Winter coats
