Harbor Humane Society

For the month of February, I will be featuring the Harbor Humane Society in West Olive, Michigan.

The Harbor Humane Society is the only animal shelter in Ottawa County. They provide care for hundreds of animals while securing their future through outreach and educational programs.

I was able to spend some time at HHS and hope to go back again to get some more pictures. All through the month I will be telling you about ways you can help these animals and the shelter, as well as featuring some of the furry friends I met!

During the month of February, I will also be selling some photographs from my visit and one of my sunset photos in order to raise money for HHS. I have set this up through my account on Etsy, and at the end of the month will be buying food and needed items for HHS.

This is Sam! (AND one of the pictures selling this month for HHS)

I am hoping to go back and get a really great picture of one of the dogs, but they are just so darn hard to photograph when they are so excited! So for now, we have two cat pictures...I'll let you know when I add a dog :)

These little ones are my favorites (also one of the pictures being sold for HHS)

If you would like to purchase a photograph to help the Harbor Humane Society, please click here to go to my Etsy shop. The photographs with "BTCMTD" in the title are being sold this month to benefit the HHS. OR if you have cash on hand I would be more than happy to skip the internet stuff and give you a print in person! The prints are $17 each :)

"Airplanes Like Shooting Stars" being sold for HHS this month too :)

Also, I am challenging those of you who are already pet owners to simply buy an extra can/bag of food next time you go grocery shopping and take it to your local shelter. OR you can give it to me, and I will bring it to the Harbor Humane Society :)

I have so much to tell you about this awesome organization, so stay tuned for lots of updates!

As always, if you'd like to visit the Harbor Humane Society's website to make a donation, click here.

Be the change. Make the difference.
